He was raped. And he didn't kill Nancy either. That was a drug dealer who robbed Nancy whilst did was passed out on tuinal and qualudes

My friend got me into the Sex Pistols back in the mid 80's. Even to this very day there is something about those guys completely outside of music that is very real and likeable. They are like regular hard working regular people like us in the public, only they were able to make this great hard rock music.

Let's keep in mind that Paul Cook was actually a very decent drummer. Good time keeper and knows when to switch between h-hat and ride cymbal; his drumming on the well known songs is impeccable. I know it may be off topic but I'm slightly tipsy and at this very moment I feel the urge to put a spotlight on him. It's always Rotten and Vicious.

They'd have been put in jail before they could've got a gig at Festival Hall in Brisbane. The rock and pop music scene in Brisbane was really intense at the time, fueled by the sheer hypocrisy of Joh Bonkers-Bananas and his Gestapo-like police playmates. Even to film a punk gig in Brisbane back then would be enough to get you a criminal record. How things have changed since then! :-D
