Sex Toy Substitute For......? (A Parkinson's Parody)

This Parkinson's parody is to highlight the sad state/availability of or access to new Parkinson's treatments. This is a sad reality many of us with Parkinson's know too well. I know people who have tried making their own vibrotactile gloves...and bravo to them, but this is above my skill set. Every treatment that has come along and has given me hope I can't get.
(I am not affiliated with either company mentioned below but they are both founded by women and I am only a BIG BIG fan)
One such device is the Charco Neurotech CUE 1

Unable to recreate such a sleek device I set out to look for something that vibrated and had many settings....In hopes that I could tape it or put it somewhere and get some of the “potential” benefits of the CUE 1.
This led me to Oh My Vibes and the Cumander :)

So wanting a CUE 1 but unable to get one, I discovered another amazing company....With truly the coolest packaging, presentation, hilarious instructions, ever!! And they write you a note, LOVE!!!
I am in the experimental phase but if nothing comes of it....I have a fun video, my point has been made, and the Cumander can be put to it's intended use.

Hi Jennifer, laughed myself silly at this one. So funny, but so, so true. The desperation levels of getting access to these products can be overwhelming and heart wrenching for many, and I feel deeply for those people. I encourage the DIY crowd not to give up the building and the fight. There are ways to get them done.

😂😂😂, to be honest, actually I had similar thoughts since discovered the vibration treatment for Parkinson’s. Just curious, does it actually work for some distance?

Yay for honesty and creative thinking!! I feel like there is potential but need to experiment with it more consistently. The pocket location I think is a good starting place for me b/c my issue is walking sometimes. I should try for one month every day and have it on me and accessible at all times and detailed take notes. I said to myself why not be proactive while I am on the waiting list, so I say to you go for it if you've been tempted 🥰

I also got a walking issue. I am experimenting with my message gun recently, one hour hand message in the morning before medication, and it seems seems helpful for my off time. I also think tremor might be the compensation mechanism of the body.

I got the CUE thing for a while and asked for my money back, which they gave. Howdy. Nice to meet you. Adam’s the name, diagnosed 9 years ago. Had DBS in September. SUCH a good choice. I’d thoroughly recommend. 😊

I want to laugh at your comment but I know what you’re saying….So the Cue 1 hasn’t been helpful? All of us I imagine are looking for that thing, a magical solution to alleviate even the smallest bit of this disease. Do you know someone it has worked for?

No it’s not as much fun but I didn’t say it doesn’t work. I’ve had mine for maybe six months now and I wouldn’t be without it. It’s not a miracle cure, but I never had those expectations. I find it a big comfort and together with diet less stress and exercise I’m doing very well really. I’m 3 years diagnosed but five years, at least, effected. I’m positive and happy really. I have off days like everyone else. Just give your cue 1 a go but wear it on your chest 😅 you will get the cue 2 as the original has stopped production x
