@@mathewsmolokomme4513 I think for many of us this is a tricky thing for us to accept because we rarely or never encounter sex workers who choose this profession willingly. They seem to be pushed into it because of financial constraints or psychological issues so it feels like exploitation. Even with these people Relebogile is interviewing, it seems to me like if they had better options as far as how they were raised and job opportunities that they wouldn't have chosen this profession. So, ay aketsi..

At 31:00-33:00 Constance made a point about trafficking and maybe I’m just picking this up now, but us not protecting sex workers or legalising it we will continue to have a problem with trafficking. Legalising sex work would mean protection and awareness for the ones who aren’t doing it willingly because sex workers would want justice. Why are we even having a problem with another person’s choice? How is this any different to a human picking working in a shop or call centre etc. It’s so amazing and refreshing to see Zelda and Constance doing this. Apologies if I misunderstood anything

Great show guys,but I would have appreciated it even more if you had a male sex worker as well,so that we firstly get to hear their experience as male sex workers, and secondly we get to break the stereotype that sex work is usually associated with females only. Even with the stripper conversation I would have appreciated that we also heard from a female point of view and their experiences in the stripper industry. Other wise all in all, great show!👍🏾

Your struggle, is not my struggle! I mean it is amazing how as women we segregate ourselves, using the same moral standards created by a patriarchal system. In my opinion I do not think when there was an outburst for GBV, the sex workers were included in the scenario or anyone else thought that we should fight further for the voices of those women that stand on the streets vulnerable at night to make a living. We need a real self-check as feminists, as women. Amazing episode Relebogile, such a controversial topic.

It still buffles me that we as a nation are still having this argument when we're told how democratic we are as a country. It's not that the people running are the highest moral compass that sex work could be deemed immoral. Just as it's their right to do what they want with their bodies with regards to abortion then why are sex workers denied the rights to go be legalized? Sex workers take that kinda work because of economic hardships or opportunities that do not come their way. Homosexuals rights were granted in 2006 without any issues by the government but somehow sex workers have not been legalized when they've been fighting for their rights for decades. Well to me it seems like there's some kinda sinister agenda, I could be wrong, I could be right.

Personally opinion especially since I more of a rad leaning feminist I don't agree that sex work should be legalized. I don't think people should buy consent from people. Just because a sex worker consented doesn't make you less creepy. SEX IS NOT A HUMAN RIGHT AND IT'S NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE PURCHASED. However I also don't think sex workers should be arrested. Rather help them with resources and help them to open rape cases.
