@@SextileBand I think we have different meanings for the same words. Growing up punk meant you didn’t care what others thought of you, your beliefs, your style, etc. Showcase theatre and So-Cal scene was great. Now I would agree with you if you think it’s taken a new meaning. Furthermore I would say if you boil it down… punk is an unapologetic and unwavering expression of the self and your personal discontentments with the world. As a musician myself I enjoyed the content. As a human I enjoyed the conversation. You too will see a revision in your own definition of punk. It’s hard for me to distinguish “punk” from punk rock, partly because I grew up with old 80s punk rock which to me defined it. I wish you guys the best. And I do not define my music as punk just in case you listened.

@@SkycladWanderer I agree with how you defined the punk mentality growing up and I'm not sure if that has to stop even after you grow up. We really connect with that mentality and perhaps that's why define ourselves as punk. We are not punk in the traditional band structure sense so maybe we can add some clarity there, but mentally, we are 100 percent there. We record, write and mix everything ourselves. We print our own merch. We pay our friends in our community to help with visuals if we cant do it ourselves.We don't make music with intent for commercial but for sheer self expression and cause, simply, we don't know what else to do.
