I need this practice!! What are some examples of ways to give myself permission to explore more? I am scared of it. Afraid to be seen. It’s almost like an energy of... oh I don’t have time for this. Too uptight to let go. Too scared to let my guard down.

I see you Chelsea! I'd say the easiest way to begin to give yourself permission is to simply notice when you aren't. And maybe you don't feel comfortable in that moment to relax at all, but you at least become aware that you aren't letting yourself relax. Next I'd make myself a very safe, sacred space (like a bath or 20 min in your room with your favorite music on) to just be. You don't need to get super sexual or sensual, but to let yourself go there *if* you want to. Push the edges, especially where it feels silly, frivolous, selfish. Let yourself go there. The practices that were given were 5...and not 6.. I understand all of them revolved around mostly inquiry.. Responsibility, radical honesty around it, embodiment, witnessing and again inquiring the avoidance or exploring of sexual energy. My question Sabrina is, I will follow them..feel into them. I have the insight..the knowingness..but what do I do next to heal myself around it. I have had two surgical procedures of my vagina to remove the hymen..Sex has been extremely painful to me. I think it's called vaginismus! A condition where sex is painful. So I avoid it..I run away from it. . I'm married to a wonderful loving guy and that doesn't help. We both have been just keeping it under the carpet and I'm now called to heal it. I feel it's time. Any advice on going ahead with the insights and actually heal myself! 💕

I see you Shelly! And I love this question, though the answer may be not exactly what you're looking for... I think what I'm hearing from you is a desire to know you're doing it "right." And that's a framework that sexual energy will never fit into. There is only what's true for *you.* Not the person next to you, not me, only you. And the way for you to figure that out is to get super real and honest with yourself so you can see beyond right/wrong, good/bad, acceptable/not, etc. and see/feel/hear what your truth about your sexual energy actually is. Are you repressing it? Are you manipulating with it? Are you scared of it? Are you scared of what others might do to/with it? Are you dancing with it? Does it bring you joy? I hope that helps in some way. I am so grateful you opened up this discussion. Sending you so much love woman! ❤️
