this is my exact trauma- sa by my adoptive father for eight years… i really only know my biological mother, i went into foster care when i was four as well. he won the court case because i was afraid to come out about the abuse until years after it ended. thank you for sharing, elizabeth ❤

She is very resilient, and that has served her well. I think resilience is inherent not learned, personally. Some people walk through the fire and become a phoenix while others just get burned up. She is a phoenix 🐦🔥 and that is amazing. Her brother is still so young, they both are, so hopefully in time he gets past enough trauma to reconnect with her. ❤❤❤

I hate being this early bc there’s no comments to read while watching 😂

you should put some kind of sound transition for the sponsors bc it always either feels poorly placed or is basically a jumpscare. It's so abrupt and disorienting every time

Such a resilient and inspiring soul🩷 and despite all her challenges, she has such a gentle and kind demeanor that makes you feel calm when she speaks. To have maintained that throughout everything is so admirable in itself. Elizabeth you are incredible! Thank you for sharing your story and I’m so glad you made it to this part of your life where you are safe and thriving. You deserve that and more !!
