Sweet. We used to have one too but she is in the wild and we miss her so much!! 😭 Do you give yours Henrys blocks, or make your own vitamin blocks, to make sure he gets his vitamins daily? Ours was so healthy and full of energy from these things!

I love Seymour, he's so dang cute!.. I noticed late this morning there was 4 bald Eagles perched up in trees in my neighbors yard eyeing my little buddies, now I'm really worried about feeding out there. Question should i stop feeding the Squirrels or? I realize it's nature's way but..

@TheWorkingMans I’ve had the same issue with hawks myself. If you don’t want them to get to your little critters they usually recommend not putting food out for a week. Heartbreaking in itself 😥. Once the squirrels stop coming around bc there isn’t food the eagles will move on, then you can resume feeding. I do have to tell you that once you start feeding again it’s only a matter of time until the eagles show up again. If you could try to cover their feeding area so predators can’t easily spot them while soaring above that would help somewhat. Good luck! 🐿🐿🐿❣️

@@lolacookie453 yeah I'll have to do that I guess. I kind of made a buffet for big predator birds by mistake I think. usually theres 20 to 30 squirrels at the same time all day long in my backyard. Even though my backyard is heavily wooded, all the leaves are gone and you really can't hide from Eagles, hawks and falcons. . I will say those squirrels do a great job of making themselves scarce not one was taken.

But yes, I get it completely I put food out for the birds and squirrels and at times have felt by doing so I have inadvertently opened a restaurant for the occasional hawk. Since I live in the city I also appreciate seeing them soar above or just perch on my balcony and stay awhile 🦅😍❣️ they are magnificent. Just do the best you can for your visiting squirrels with their food and water, the rest is up to nature. 🐿🕊🌲
