Hi Lauren, definitely loving your Sezane reviews. Always well done and informative 👍🏻 when it comes to choices we are lke minded. I have many of the same pieces as you. Also share your habit of gravitating towards white and ivory tops. They tend to work best with my bottoms. I do find myself having to branch out though, it’s a process 😉 I recently purchased the new Brut Sexy denim and love these over the previous design. Thinking to buy more colors. I would recommend these, the beautiful Chloe and the Collete mariniere and the Austin, especially for ladies who are curvy. Another thing I noticed was that you mentioned you use Vanish stain remover and it doesn’t fully resolve makeup stains. I work for the company that develops this product. I highly encourage you to make a consumer complaint as this helps us improve our products. Secondly I will mention this to my colleague who partners with our Consumer Relations team monitoring Vanish in the market to improve product quality. Are there any particular fabrics it works better or worse for? Any additional detail I can pass along?

Hi Summer, thank you so much, it's lovely to hear we have similar tastes and it's definitely a branching out process, so happy you can relate! 😀 Love all your suggestions with Sézane pieces and I also would love the jeans in different colours as well - there's a pretty pink version which sold out 💕 Thanks for the recommendation to provide product feedback, I will do this at my end 🙏 I'm having trouble with a particular t-shirt, it's the Arket heavyweight tee which is 96% cotton and 4% elastane. Quite a thick material so I've had to apply the vanish spray multiple times and let it soak for at least an hour. Majority of the marks come off but I then need to spot clean further with sunlight soap to get the make-up off and then put it in the washing machine. I need to be careful with removing the make-up before taking the top off as the neckline is quite high.

Hi Lauren! I really enjoy your channel and appreciate your review as we are similar in petite sizing! It would be even more helpful if in the future you could consider putting the name of the Sezane pieces in your description. Sometimes i listen to your videos while driving or doing chores, and don't retain the names so if I want to buy the same pieces, it's a bit tricky having to rewind through the video again. I love how honest you are. I love Sezane, but I am also very careful with their sweaters, indeed they can be quite itchy. I bought a few of which I wear only the blue knit with buttons like the one you showed here and a light beige in cachemire from their collab with Eric Bompard the french house which specializes in cachemire. When it comes to sweaters I would save my money, I would not recommend Sezane, there are other brands that make very good quality sweaters including Arket, Reiss, Massimo Dutti, Hugo Boss, etc. I love Sezane trousers, skirts, dresses and tops thouogh and especially their belts. Relaxed french style in affordable prices. By the way you look stunning wearing the blue knit with a white skirt. Thank you very much for your tips.

One of my favourite brands is Sézane and I have some beautiful items from them in my wardrobe. I have quite a few shirts and blouses that I find easy to combine with my core staples such as trousers, skirts and jeans. My most worn items are the Will jacket in Khaki, my Leontine sweaters (in ecru and navy stripes) and marinières (I have two combinations). I am embarrassed to admit how many sweaters I own 😉but they are versatile and complete many of my outfits.

Hi Lauren! I've been watching your videos for a while now and always think you are the SWEETEST person. This video is is so helpful! I love Sézane and completely agree with your assessments on the individual pieces. The Tomboy shirt is probably my favorite of all time - I have both white and the light blue (you won't be disappointed!). I also have the Chloé shirt in navy and dark green and think they're so pretty for fall/winter. I'm considering the Austin trousers and the Conrad t-shirt, based on your recommendations. 😊 As an aside, I love your skirt collection! Theyre always so pretty!

Hey Lauren hope you having a good weekend. Bob Ross in his painting always though making happy mistakes are okay (in painting). I don’t think it’s a mistake having black in your trousers group even if it’s different seasons. No doubt sezane probably psychologically when purchasing they have in mind the colour for people to get. I say given if I purchased something as a gift is navy stripe sweater that’s good start. I have found Sezane hit and miss, mainly in knitwear as they have a lot of polyamide in them. I only buy their cotton or merino wool sweaters now. I have had good success with the Leontine sweaters and the Chloe blouses.

@@LaurenGraceHarding I fell in love with the navy/ecru which is the reverse from their most classic one. I love light coloured tops but am quite clumsy so a darker option always feels more safe, plus it's not your classic French-style stipe either 😊

@@LaurenGraceHarding I love it, it's heavy-weight knitted cotton and a bit rougher than I thought (not as silky-smooth soft as other cotton knits I have but it's by no means itchy anywhere) but it's thick yet breathable 😌 because of this it feels really sturdy 💪

@@LaurenGraceHarding Compared to the Roma jumper (which I think has same type of fabric and feel as Anil top) the Roma is smooth like butter. By no means is the Léontine coarse but you can really feel the knitted pattern when you feel it in your hands (if that makes sense 😅)

Hi Lauren. I appreciate your detailed reviews on Sezane, however after purchasing in the USA (from Sezane online) I was promptly stuck with a currier invoice for almost a third of what the pieces cost me! After contacting both the currier service (FedEx) and Sezane, the response from both was that I am responsible for International taxes for purchases made from this particular brand because they do not factor in the international tax in their prices. Living in NYC, I have purchased from retailers ALL OVER THE WORLD and never have I ever come across such a shady practice (even if I chose to return the items I still had to pay the tax!). That is very disappointing and will definite NEVER purchase from Sezane again. Shame on them! Buyer beware!!

I did check their website and they do have a section where they detail when buyers are charged....maybe it would be better if this was more obvious during the checkout process online in case we miss this. Now I will make sure I don't go above the limit and just split orders if I need to. I live in Canada. So when I buy from Sezane, I do have to pay duties. But I try to order occasionally as it adds up. Also, there is a section where they mention the tax and the duties for certain countries. So before ordering, make sure to check before you plunge. Cheers!

Both! But mainly hand washing...My knitwear, some tops, skirts, dresses and some trousers I always hand wash. The rest (jumpers, t-shirts, jeans) I will put in the washing machine.

That’s the beauty of all-cotton jeans (99% comes close), they just get more comfortable every time you wash or wear them. I couldn’t stand skinny jeans with all that polyester in them, jeans shouldn’t squeeze the body like a pair of Spandex leggings. I have been having fun shopping for jeans again since straight-leg, all cotton styles are finally available again. In the 70s and 80s, we never wore stretchy polyester jeans.p, they didn’t exist.
