PS agree, Suede boots can show wear if you're not careful. They absolutely need special care:I have a protector spray for suede AND a suede revitalizer spray. But if you do take care of them and don't wear them in the rain (yeah, pain, but I"m ok with bringing walking shoes with me to work for lunch walks) then they are just fine.

I bought the Theoora in the taupe suede. I LOVE them. I'm trying not to be jealous about missing the smooth leather version because it was totally sold out in my size when I went to order them and Sezane customer service said they weren't going to restock them :-( Boo. However, I have smooth leather boots in chocolate, cognac and black so I was happy to go with the suede to add some fun texture and diversity to my wardrobe. They aren't as quite dressy as smooth leather - so I'm not wearing them with a silk dress - but they look still look fabulous with lots of styles. I have been loving them with my Tea Dress in denim, Kotn's Radio skirt in midnight denim and COS grey boiled wool skirt.

Honestly what a torture by Sézane to make these in two fantastic options that are so close in what you can wear them with, yet so different 🙈 I love the Taupe suede booth. I do think it’s harder to find boots and bags in that cooler brown suede! Enjoy them!

Yes! Boots are very bulky and it’s best to go for a very versatile design to justify the closet space they take. I usually try to go for very simple, clean boot designs (although I often admire statement designs)

For anyone who wants either small calf, wide calf or needs a longer or shorter boot shaft height, I highly recommend Duo boots. They have a number of sizing options. Boots with low, mid or high heels and leather, suede or croc as options with a number of colours. Zory the Ralph Lauren sweater with the dog on it is adorable 🥰

@@Laura-tb7nm I just know that boots are not one size fits all. I’m 5ft tall so most knee high boots go over my knees 🫣 Short legs, long legs, skinny calves, curvy calves all need to be considered. I just like to share the info about Duo because their product is great (Made in Portugal)

The boots definitely don’t fit snug to the leg. Personally I like that look, I like when my leg has room around it (between leg and boot) - I feel like it elongates you but I guess it comes down to personal preference

True, I guess I’ve lived in a place without much rain (and absolutely no snow) for quite sometime now and I’ve stopped thinking about that. I love suede boots so much but I agree if your climate is very wet leather is better. Also when I lived in a place with a real winter I always loved having a little platform on my boots to separate me from the cold ground 🥶

Unpopular opinion here: all those boots look incredibly cheap, especially the Sezane Theodora in smooth leather (very plasticky). I hate how most brands cheap out and get away with not making a proper fitting boot and then just selling it to us as ‘oversize’ style. Fit is not styling in my opinion. Sad thing is that they mostly get away with it because lots of people buy into that ‘trend’ and the rest simply can’t find damn fitting boots! 😅

I disagree. The boots look beautiful in person. Both the suede and smooth leather (not plasticky at all) are well made and it shows in person. As for the fit that’s personal preference and depends entirely on one’s style. I’m not a fan of a tight shape boot for everyday. I love a boot that fits like the Theodora - having some space makes my legs look more slender. I seek that shape as I’m sure many other ladies do. There is nothing trendy about the boot’s shape, quite the opposite- it’s very clean and timeless design.
