Daigo should always play more aggressively and unpredictable to keep his opponents guessing. After all akuma has a lot of surprises, an unpredictable plethora of powerful move lists, setups and finishing supers.

In my humble opinion, i think Daigo is playing a shoto character defensively. I think the way he plays will work well with guile, which is his SFV style. After all, Daigo has already done it all. Nothing to prove already, just like JWong.

@@julianchen3714 Well that may be. But why does he even go to tournaments and keep losing lately, even @ Evo. I think he wants to win again but he refuses to make simple adjustments like what I pointed out earlier. He should also take advantage of all the move sets of akuma but he doesn't. He keeps on doing the same sequence over and over again.

@@Jay-tr3px agreed. I can only say that he’s getting older haha.. he’s been playing fighting games for at least 3 decades. Really not easy to maintain that mental strength. I watched his socal 2010 SF2 guile, it was really flawless how he destroyed Alex valle Ryu.

If daigo pressured him all the time at the corner.he has big chance to win every round.he has underrated corner pressure with fireball mixup. But sometimes he got backpedal. Make distance.i dont know he give the opponent has a cha ce to counter. This gamr daigo has better comeback.

Experience in fighting games helps... until it's TOO MUCH and you're old. Daigo is still very very strong. Legend rank is nothing to sneeze at. But he can't do what the younger guys can do.
