Omg…. Daigo is something else man. I seen his last Akuma vid like a month ago max and now he’s a different person. Yes he still has his Vegetas technique but it actually works. He spams gao hadokens, but not as much. He’s fighting more and actually showing new combos I never knew existed with Akuma. I love it. His progression continues to show that he…. Is the Beast.

Akuma fits him so well. He has great zoning, and Daigo loves zoning, but he also has all the offensive tools to play agressively whenever he wants. That's where Daigo excels at: switching from defense to offense in a second. Ken lacks good zoning, so it's no surprise he dropped him .

Daigo was bad with E ryu in USF 4 months after he changed. years later he was on a level no else achieved with the character. He improves slowly, but his ceiling is higher then anyone else

Not gonna lie....that Terry theme or whomever theme that is at first match or so.....nice beat & theme👌🏿. Something about it makes the matches hit even harder 😅 🤷🏿‍♂️😅🤦🏿‍♂️. You will be amazed how much fighting game music, impacts the game and matches. Another example...that Digital Orbital something other 😅 from Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Yall no the one im talking about. That theme will have you rocking your head to the beat while getting your butt beat in the game 😅.

Dude this Akuma is a badass! I love the combos at end of rd 2 and 3. Those finishes were like 30-50% to finish him off and the combos are clean. I love watching Akuma.

Even personally in diamond rank I'm finding that to be true with new Terry's.

Yeah If you tap the parry button right when your opponent hits you it triggers a 'Perfect Parry.' The whole screen turns dark and the characters freeze for a second. The character who did the perfect parry gets to move first. There is also a new kind of 'parry' where if you hold the parry button your character will glow blue and block all attacks. It costs meter and is basically the same as blocking normally but prevents projectiles from pushing you back. They mostly used this for blocking projectiles. There's a bit more to it than that but that's the gist of it.

Yeah, I agree. Nothing in his moveset stands out aside from his lvl 2. You have to play him like lily because every blockstring he does is either punishable or can be drive impacted. He's mid-tier, might even be bottom tier given time imo.

Shotokan fighting style in general. fireball fireball, sit back and punish. rinse, repeat, now you're a master for some reason. Worst part is, this game makes sure that fighting style will work.
