That screencap of weary Scully in the middle of an asynchronous blink is such a great visualization of being 110% done with all the BS she's been through.

Really been loving these X-Files episodes. Although many of his roles have been small, Brian Thompson is so recognisable and it's a buzz seeing him.

Oh, I knew he looked familiar, but I couldn't place it. The name made it all fall into place. He's missing the fangs!

Yes, I am happy. You intended that pun, which I respect. These x-files reviews are a fun trip down memory lane too, as I haven't seen the series in over 20 years.

9:55 : Funny, it was exactly the opposite for me, when I saw her on The Walking Dead, I was just thinking "Hey! Its that government official from X-Files"; couldn't recall her name at the time 😅

Obligatory German comment: "Herrenvolk" is German for "master race", so the appearance of identical blue-eyed blond kids is really topical. Oh, also, expect this comment section to be annexed soon now that you invoked us.

Could someone tell me what the name of the x-files remix is that was played for the intro? It’s a banger 🤘🤘

The fact that we got answers is the big problem with this show. Because we got answers. Then we got different answers later. Then still more different answers later. Then the show was cancelled. Then came back more than 10 years later just to give us yet more different answers. Answers that make zero sense when put with the rest of the series. IIRC (which I probably don't recall correctly as it was shit I tried hard to forget) now officially the story is that the aliens were always a hoax. They never existed according to those last two shit season. Despite the fact that we, the viewers, saw an alien fighting cave men ~35,000 years ago. The Syndicate is so powerful that they sent a fake alien back in time to kill cave men just so that the audience can see that? So not only do they have time travel, but they know that we're watching them in the real world? Those last two seasons were fucking terrible. Up until then the constant retcons of the story actually made it more intriguing (for the most part), but that was just total shit. Complete with the cliche "it was all just a dream" bullshit start of the second season of the revival. And bringing back Cancer Man after literally showing us his face being melted off his skull in the (formerly) final episode? WTF Chris Carter???

This, one disproven study and a lot of online grifters.
@bthsr711324 күн бұрын
@@alfje5492 I knew about the study, but this lines up very neatly with the nuts who think "THEY" are using vaccines for tracking every billy joe bob going through the woods and postage stamp towns, every bubba going through a swamp, and every Joe Rogan wannabee trying to see themselves as a Mulder when they really just need to spend more time at a public library that wasn't sabotaged with Christian Fiction.
@thundercat_pumyra24 күн бұрын
No, you blame antivaxxers on their own stupidity. This episode was well after their stupidity already made them claim shit like this. This episode was based on those asshole, not the other way around.
