I have the 650 version of this board. It’s been great with zero issues. The bios isn’t top tier but gets the job done.

I also have the B650E PG ITX, it's interesting that this one gets a bios flashback but is technically a tier lower for 800 boards. The B650E has been a great board, it can even handle a 7950X

Man, Asrock needs to step up their rear IO. 1 type c in 2025 is criminal. Sff cases are already stingy with their io selection.

I'm using this board! Purchased it a week or so ago. Solid VRMs considering the price and that it's an mITX board. Also, no RGB lighting on the board itself, though it does have the connectors.
@nimrodery5 күн бұрын
They should make angled connectors for some of these ITX boards, it would look a little less constricting and make builds easier. Maybe just the power connectors and USB, I think it would suit a lot of builds and wouldn't add much cost (ITX is already too expensive).

I'd like to see motherboards switch to offering a few more USB-C ports. USB-A is great, sure, but it is now 2025 and many devices are USB-C. Not saying all ports should be USB-C, but just the one feels a bit dated.
@TheGameBench5 күн бұрын
Not bad at all. Would have been nice if both m.2 slots were Gen5, but can't complain too much at this price, but I do with they would double stack the m.2 slots on the front since there's such a problem running a drive on the back with a heatsink. Seen it interfere in way too many cases with the chassis. Also very nice that they included TOSlink as well.

i mean not even ASUS does both m.2 both in gen5

It's strange to see board description in a vacuum. At least some comparing with B650(e) predecessors - there is b650i lighting wifi and B650E PG-ITX WiFi. Is there any sense to buy this new board or maybe take a look at the older ones? And there is a lot of competitors as well.

I'm noticing that the two 850 boards i've seen reviewed, (this board and the MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk MAX WiFi), have no internal display out port added, i hope this is not a trend as APU users, (APU graphic displays are plenty enough for some users), have now only the option of HDMI, i know they have the USB C display option but why leave internal DP out?.
