Qur'an only clarifies , confirms, and makes it concise what is in the Bible and the Torah. Mohammad did not bring a new message, he only confirmed the message brought by Moses and Jesus Son of Mary. The Quran does NOT confirm what is in the current Bible and Torah! The Bible and Torah have been changed after the prophets (pbuh) originally brought them to the people at that time. The people changed the verses in these books to their own selfish advantage. The Quran is the final book and also mentions many times that the previous books have been changed by the 'people for a small price'

The problem is that their religious institutions have been infiltrated by corrupt elements who want to divide people and make them fight each other so that they could sell their weapons to kill each other, loans for wars, food for starving civilians, medicines for the injured, infrastructure for the destroyed countries. When you demonize a religion, you desensitize people's hearts towards the human beings who follow it. Which gives you the perfect opportunity for attacking countries where the followers of that religion live. I see claims everyday specially from Christian keyboard warriors that Islam is some kind of satan worshiping cult, and Allah is actually some pagan deity called baal, which is completely laughable and goes against the very core of the Islamic ideology which is based on strict monotheism. They also claim that all the terrorism by Muslims is some kind of ritual sacrifice to those demon gods, I kind of understand the ordinary christian people, who don't read the Quran, but get all fueled up and attack Islam because they trust the priests who misguide them with these fairy tales against Islam. I mean, if I was in their place, I probably would have also hated such a religion which was supposedly so evil.

Though, overall, I feel the Sister gave a very good interview, she makes a couple of (minor) errors. Though I know what she meant, Abraham had only one faith - no man practices more than one religion at the same time. He only practiced one faith during his lifetime (al-Islam) and three religions evolved from his teachings. More importantly, though it is a courtesy to treat all Books of Scripture with respect, there is no official ruling in Islam about the treatment of the Bible. However, nothing should be placed on top of the Qur'an - not even the Bible, for, by its own admission, the Bible is not only the word of God and some of His Messengers but the word of ordinary men (i.e. Matthew, Luke, Mark, John, Paul, etc.) and has gone through numerous changes. However, the Qur'an is exclusively the word of The Creator and has never been changed or abrogated by any Scripture coming after it.

*15 Astonishing facts About Islam That you Really don't know !* *1)* *“Islam” means “surrender” or “submission”* . “Salam” (which means “peace”) is the root word of “Islam”. Along with Judaism and Christianity it traces its roots through Prophet Abraham and back to the first humans Adam and Eve. *4)* *There are five pillars of practice in Islam.* These practices must be undertaken with the best of effort in order to be considered a true Muslim: A) Declaration of faith: A statement proclaiming the belief in One God and that Muhammad is a prophet of God. Allah, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."* [Quran 39:53] *7)* *The Islamic concept of God* is that He is loving, merciful and compassionate. Islam also teaches that He is all-knowing and the perfect judge of affairs, and will punish (or forgive) accordingly. However, Allah once said to Muhammad, “My mercy prevails over my wrath”. We start at the root of the tree: Abraham is not a Jew, he is ancient & the Jewish tribes Ultimately come from him, as do certain Arabian tribes. Abraham & Sara [Abraham's half sister] were Mesopotamian [today's Iraq], & that makes Ishmael, Issac & Sara Mesopotamian as well. Abraham migrated from Mesopotamia to Palestine to escape the king's wrath. The appearance of the Jews occurs much later after Issac passed away. Jesus peace be upon him didnt have any power over giving life or death just as Moses did not have a thing in his splitting the ocean with the stick. It is, actually, God ( referred to as the father in the new testament) who did all the miracles through them. You can clearly see that in John.5 ( John 5:36, NIV: "I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish--the very works that I am doing--testify that the Father has sent me."). Jesus was one of the great prophets God sent to people. The only difference between him and the other people is that he was concieved without a man intervention. It just goes to show the absolute power of God: he created people from a man and woman, he created Jesus from a mother without a father and created Adam without a father nor a mother. Islam is a Universal region. That is what it is. It has social Justice. It has democracy of dealing with every individual with dignity. Every one deserves to be treated dignified, and every one wishes to be treated dignified. That is the very reason , when in Rwanda the victimized Christians were being treated with dignity , they started converting en mass to Islam.
