An air-throw is a throw done in the air by pressing light punch and light kick: Guile and Chun-Li. Throws that are done otherwise are called command grabs: Gosai, 360 grabs, half-circle grabs etc.

@ Mocell. The jump is done by inputting the same movement as a Dragon punch but pressing the light kick and medium kick at the same time, Only done when ya have a EX bar

it looked to me like he did a demon flip and cut it short early with the punch attack, you'll see him go like he's going to attack in mid air, this drops him down faster then normal, and then i think he threw the dragon punch because he made daigo attempt to block early and mess up :)

in early SF manga comics, Gouki (or Akuma) has long hair while young. I wish they fleshed out Gouken's backstory (aka Sheng Long). I like him as a char, a gentle giant of sorts. He is what Ryu will grow up to be IF he doesn't succumb to dark power.

you got bigger delay, example a full shoryuken makes you fly longer in the air if you miss it you are sure you ll get a nasty combo on your landing

Part 3. I was thinking the reason for this was because of where the buttons lie on the arcade machine/fight stick, is it simply easier press the light punch in the sequence over the hard punch due to its location? if not why would anyone use a weaker move where a stronger one can be used? constructive critisism please, no noob flames, thanks.

PArt 2. you can easily replace the crouching light punch with either a standing Hard punch or crouching Hard Punch (gives more dmg) and still juggle in the huricane kick and its follow ups is there actually a reason why anyone would use the weak punch over the hard punch? the combo chain still works and it produces more dmg( by a small ammount - i know, but dmg is dmg)

it takes your life when you absorb stuff yo. It's not always worth it, especially against Daigo who will be throwing them out all day.

part 1. ok a question for some decent akuma players ( maybe i know the answer already but just checking) At 0:21 Akuma's combo so he jumps in with a kick + Hard Kick + crouching light punch why do all pro akuma players I see use this crouching light punch then go into the light Tatsumaki Zankuu (hurican kick) followed up with a Hard Shoryuken (dragon punch)?

No, thats his shinkuu hadouken there. His super, not his ultra which is the one your talking about. You cant link it with c.lp - its too slow.

daigo is better at SF3 imo. one thing he needs to do is learn to incorporate the focus attacks into his play style. notice he owns akuma the most in the round he used focus attacks wisely. but then again who am i to give pointers? :P

Honestly, Gouki sounds much better than Akuma. But then again I'm Japanese. Naming a character Akuma in Japan is like naming a character Devil in the US. Would you like to play Devil or Gouki? I'd say Gouki. Gouki is well fitting name in Japanese standards. I hope you don't go to foreigner telling them their names are "stupid" just because it doesn't fit your cultural tastes.
