I love the intros in this game for every level, that lady's voice its so haunting telling you what you are about to embark on and letting you know its gonna be no picnic, "the mighty Purlin",pissed at society because they got left behind,"The river of souls" a poisoned river so toxic the mere mention of its name will melt your face, "The blind ones", more pissed off people wanting you dead, shit , almost makes you scared to play the game,one of the best games ive ever played back in the day and now,a oldie but goodie for sure!!

I never even heard of this game when I had an N64 as a kid. Honestly never played any shooter on N64 until I got one recently. Turok 2 is one of the most addictive games I've played in awhile. Can't wait to play Goldeneye and Perfect dark after finishing the turok series cause I remembered having both those games as a kid and never really playing them.

My favorite level, a memory core of my life is I played this after school, and there was a school something happening, long story short I missed it and was blasting my way through this level, I was a lame kid so I used the cheat, but damn is it still fun

Holy shit, the enemies get more GODDAMN TERRIFYING with each warp portal! Glad I'm not watching this alone at night. xD I only had this game for a few months in 1999 before trading it, but always lamented not having the patience to see more of it beyond Port Of Adia (which never looked hugely challenging even though I never made it to the end). Your playthroughs are more than enough consolation.

I loved this game, the Atmosphere, the music and the action. You get the feel that you're hunting enemies of mankind, who happen to be walking lizardmen or some kind of dinosaur people. And in this level, you can't beat a good ol' shotgun. Besides, many corners seem to hold plenty of extra ammo for you.

I loved playing this game, it was large yet somewhat simple in design and had promise with combat and those games often turn the industry around. The only thing I had against this game was you couldn’t find holdouts of soldiers to rescue and follow you into combat and help you, until they die or you finish the level with them. But it’s understandable why that didn’t happen.

It was a unique weapon concept for the time. It was a melee weapon that did actual damage; it wasn't an extremely weak weapon that punished the player for running out of ammo, like any other FPS at the time. In Duke Nukem, Doom, and even the original Turok, the "basic" melee weapons were completely ineffective. I don't think the idea of effective melee weapons really caught on until Call Of Duty.

The grenade launcher over the poisoned water, it is possible to get it without Breath Of Life by jumping quickly, but it takes some practice.

Are you playing this on PC or the N64? I ask because you make it look easy. Also, I tried to play this on the PC but it still felt very weird and stiff. For example, when I would walk up stairs, a ramp, or climb a ladder my crosshair immediately fixes itself directly ahead according to the slopes or the direction I'm traveling and that always threw me off.
