Hey there - Huge News for the channel! I’ve been mentioning my love for acrylic shelves and displays since 2017, since there really isn’t anything else out there that accomplishes the same result. I reached out to Joe @ Achieve Display last week to see if we would work out referral discounts for gamers. As of today - MarMax Gaming & Achieve Display are officially partners :) In the check out comments section, simply put “MarMax Gaming sent me!” or similar and you’ll get 10% off of your total order! Check them out, their stuff is really awesome plus it’s way less expensive than the other sites / products I’ve seen. Appreciate your support, enjoy the discount!

That intro screen like "you think this is good? Wait for the full game" I bet dudes were hyped in 98

I kept noticing that cart in the background of some of your other vids and was curious about it. Well now I know and knowing is half the battle! 🌈 Thanks for the deep dive. Fascinating stuff.

That had a ton of info with really great pace and solid AV, plus you didn't drag it out forever and kept things coming to hold interest the entire time. Great clips and comparisons, lots of differences going on!

Nice work. I never got into Turok but did play a bit of the GB one in the past. I never really liked FPS games. But well done review and you explained things well. I never would have noticed the Dice

Hard to believe they were able to fit 32MB onto one cart, with the help of the expansion pak, of course. Did you ever get an expansion pak for your N64, Jeff? I got it more for RE2(loved how crisp it made the character models) and Perfect Dark. Awesome seeing the differences, too. Great vid, man. 🤘🏻🤘🏻

It’s crazy, isn’t it?? Plus your RE2 and Conkers were on the 64 MB 😳 I’m glad you enjoyed it! We did have an expansion pak when we got DK 64 🎉 man, did those games take a long time! We will be getting into the N64 a bit more in the future as a mix up, I can feel it.

It seems like in the NFR version they made the Plasma Rifle behave like the Alien-Weapon from Turok 1 (Energy weapon direct beam + small delay for explosion damage)

Dude how do you figure this stuff out? Im always amazed by your niche knowledge of this stuff.

There were so many last minute changes to this game. For some reason, there's no energy totem after level 6, and and official strategy guide has the Mother boss as a level 3 boss (it's level 6 in the final game.

That’s fascinating! Especially that the “official” strategy guide would be wrong like that… thanks for the fun facts

Given that Turok 1 has seven levels and THEN an 8th level to reach the final boss, I suspect Turok 2 cut a level you enter with the Primagen keys and have to fight through to reach him

It looks like there are a couple on eBay asking for $2000+… sales wise, they’ve sold $1250-$2000 in the past. They just don’t show up too often.
