It's finally happened! For almost an year i've been making facepalms from how awful original animation ended up looking. And i was really itching for making a remake. So one month of suffering later it's finally finished. What can i say? I actually can watch this version and enjoy it!
The english translation used in subtitles is from Windii:

There’s so much that was good here. And I’m willing to bet that most people actually missed the slight curve of the foot flattening out during Mephiles’ walk. Beautiful touch. And plus, I love that Rouge’s ears droop down, perk up, and flow around with her movements and emotions. It’s really fitting

It feels odd to have Eggman's regular design used during his 06 self scenes. 06 Eggman was clearly written to be a serious counterpart to his regular self.

Absolutely, but on the other hand, one of the weirdest things about Sonic 06 is the mix of cartoon animals with realistic humans, they don't look like they're from the same universe. Here there is no such feeling

It's like just putting it in the real world and hoping it works. I don't know, it just seems weird to me. In the live-action movie the design is different precisely because he is together with real people there. And you're right, Sonic isn't an animal, but a blue alien who claims to be a hedgehog 😆

Wow this is amazing! Only thing is I would have liked Shadow to look more serious at times as he doesn’t lose his composure easily but I still love this! The camera angles and the animation is so nice! That whole part when Mephiles is just slowly approaching them and talking is so well done it’s so deliciously creepy. The reflection in the eye and how Shadow is holding an arm out protectively in front of Rouge, AH I LOVE IT!

I honestly feel like Shadow losing a little composure fits pretty well. He's confused because Mephiles is claiming things that have happened that Shadow doesn't know about yet. He has no idea what this thing is or what kind of threat he poses. From what little emotion is shown in the original cutscene, even then I feel like he doesn't have full composure based on the fact that he jumped back when Mephiles raised his arm. I know it's a bit of a ramble and I hope you don't take it as me trying to argue. I'm just sharing what I think. :)

@@venusgriffin5892 You know what, true! And more emotion and feeling is hardly ever a bad thing. I’m replaying it in my head and you’re right it does fit pretty well. I only meant maybe Shadow’s expressions could have been a little more subtle at times, but honestly it still works really well and looks really nice. Also you’re fine! :) People should be able to talk and discuss things freely, discussing is fun! Doesn’t always have to mean argument.

This is amazing animation! Everything from the camera angles, to the movements, everything's fantastic. Something I want to say about the Japanese dub; I've never seen the whole Japanese dub, I've just seen this video, but Mephiles's Japanese VA did amazing making him seem creepy. His speech seems slower in the Japanese dub than the English one, and it makes the creep factor go way up. It's also nice that 1) Rouge's yelp as she falls isn't delayed AF, and 2) Rouge sounds like she's in her late teens, which, as far as I know, she's 18. So it works better (not that her English VA did a horrible job, she just didn't match Rouge's age)

Everything was great! Just my little personal opinion was that I didnt really liked how Mephiles was walking, it felt a bit choppy- that aside tho, everything about this animation was perfect. The facial expressions, the camera shots, just a pleasent gift for my eyes!

If there is one critique I have with this, it's Mephiles' body language. The slow gestures he does in the original game made him come off creepy, so by making him express like the rest of the cast kinda takes away the chilling factor. Still love how you gave the other characters life unlike the emotionless models in game.

Great animation. I love everything except how they walk - in this case specifically, it's kind of jerky and stiff, which is especially jarring when Mephiles limps his way over to Shadow. I think that could use some work but other than that, I love it.

Анимация хороша, но... Мне кажется, что единственным плюсом в анимации 06 был именно Мефилес. Все персонажи там дёргаются как куклы, но именно Мефилесу это придавало жути. Его дёргающиеся движения, безвольные руки, неподвижные зрачки - всё это делало его неестественным и пугающим. Но это уже придирки, в остальном анимация классная!
