Guys remember to set the rotation to default aswell for everything since moving your camera will offset the models since it will always face you even if you set the model not to do that in settings.

Guys, if you want to make your Reach Spartan faster : 1. Spawn in the Body and the Hands 2. Add whatever you want, maybe from all sections or maybe not all 3. Click on the "base_spartan_body" model in the model list and drag that onto every other part of the Spartan EXCEPT for Helmet Attachments Now, if you've done everything right, there needs to be a lock next to the name of your armor parts. 4. Click on the models or click on their "rootTransfrom" and pull the "Zero" slider to the right (except for the Helmet and Helmet Attachments) 5. Now you can either click on the Helmet's "rootTransform" or the "Body" section. Then pull the "Zero" slider to the right 6. Drag the Helmet onto the Helmet Attachments, and then again, either click on the "rootTransform" or the entire model and put the "Zero" slider to the right 7. Now you just have to choose the gender and choose if you want a robotic arm or no (in Body and arms only), The visor and it's condition (in Helmet only), Missing parts and present parts (in certain parts, not in all types of them though) And Coloring (in all parts) Thank you for your attention and good luck in your way dear colleges :)

hey just so you know, exporting as a poster does not include bloom, but you can export it as an image with the bloom, however you’ll need to increase the size of your viewport in order to export at higher resolutions

Hi, I had a question about setting the root transform to default? It took me a couple of tries to finally get the arm and body to get together, but I tried to make another Spartan and it doesn't connect together. I followed what you did, but it doesn't work first try for me like for you. Can you please help?

I've personally never had this issue, however I recommend staying in one spot while building the spartan.

I feel like I'm missing something in this. The body parts don't spawn in the right locations from the body. I tried not even moving my camera, but the stuff seems to spawn in front of the body and even bunched up.

I like the tutorial however I have some critiques. When you explain things, you tend to just say it how it is and you don't really explain why it is that way. For example at the beginning 3:57 when you say "Press Ctrl+L" you should show how to access that from the menu's rather than just relying on us memorizing the key combos. Another thing is 9:32 when you say scroll to "soulburnin" but you don't really say why you're looking for that. You could mention that that is the workshop content and they're sorted by authors/packs. Last thing, some terminology would help because when you just describe what the icon looks like instead of saying it's name, it's hard for me as a newbie to understand what it does. You should be explaining the tools and why you're using them. 5:05 "you always wanna click that 'cause that will give you access to moving stuff around and all that good stuff" doesn't exactly explain what the tool does. When do I not click it? Why does it suddenly allow you to move things around? Anyway, that's my critique. I hope you make more tutorials in the future because you did a great job on this one.

@@AL3X2580 yeah: first, right click the spartan (either part works, arms, body, whatever. this only works on the twitter files of the models) then, add override materials thirdly show the MODEL in element viewer go to the materials tab there you'l find a 'primary' and 'secendary' color. expand the given color you want. right click it and select 'add adtribute' choose the 'color' option a prompt will then appear. change the word within the text box to '$color' without the quotations of course now in the expanded tab of whatever color section you chose. there should be a color bar for you to select and change the color to whatever you please hope this helped

I can get everything to work but the halo reach models. For some reason they are not lining up properly when I do the root transform thing. I've tried to find other ways around it but I can't. Any suggestions. I want to try this because I want to make something for my buddy and girlfriend who both love Halo as much as me. I wanted to have our spartans standing together. When I click rootTransform on the body it doesn't line up with the forearms. Everything spawns fine and all, just that when I use rootTransform nothing moves, like literally nothing fucking happens and I'm so pissed.
