DOOM ETERNAL really shows this off in full. The Doomslayer is the most vicious, nightmarish, destructive being, a literal God of rage and vengeance that even humans both fear and worship him. Yet every time he comes face to face with a human or even Maykr, he shows no violence or anger. He never has to threaten anyone or intimidate. He just does what he needs to and at the worst with give a gentle but firm shove to get someone out of his way. And he especially never reacts to threats in any unnecessary measure. Notice he never once tries to attack the Khan Maykr even when she's his clear enemy, until she finally corners him and begins the real fight. Same with Samur, and he doesn't even show much eagerness to kill him even before the Father says he doesn't need to. And in Sentinel Prime, when cornered by guards after killing the Hell Priest, he just leaves. No need to fight because they're not his real enemy. Hell, even him kneeling before King Novik's ghost shows how much respect he still has for others even when he can literally kill EVERYTHING in his path. My favorite scene of this is on Phobos when he finally enters the BFG 10,000 and enters the control pod, he almost politely shoves the gunner aside as if to say "Excuse me pal, I need this".

although kinda simple i really like the coreography for the slayers little fight scene. in game and lore we know hes literally a one man army and can take dozens or even hundreds of powerful demons at once but we dont really see how it is most the time and the way we play isnt exactly how its reflected for gameplay reasons. but the few times we got glimpses from it and what we can take from most glory kills, he fights quickly andd efficiently with a mixture of his sheer force and technological weapons both advanced or closer to our worlds standart firearms. and as brutal as he is, he almost never doesnt fight in this style; quick and efficient. he doesnt waste time or resources giving his enemies unecessary painfull or slow deaths out of amusement or arrogance, though maybe in a diferent circunstance he would due to his infinite hatred for demons he doesnt do it when fighting because he knows when facing multiple foes momentum is key, and any windows one foe can take advantage the others can follow up and overwhelm you very quickly. so he straight up jump for the killing blow on the very first opportunity.
