Thank you so much, this has helped me so much. I got a fire particle, and I continued to do what you said to make it appear. At first I thought doing the two things didn't work. The circle came up (I am not copying the exact tool as well) but then I realised. Wait it's a fire particle, what if I un pause. And it flamed up :>

Im going to need some help cause i went on the workshop folder and looked for partticles and i cannot find a folder saying particles.

If you have subscribed to the particles and there is no particles folder inside of the workshop folder, you could try creating the particles folder and then subscribing to the particles again.

hey i have a slight problem for some reason when i click browse and it put me on games it only shows me usermod can you tell me what i need or what im doing wrong, because i followed your tutorial exactly

Hey there, is this the case when you go to your game folder through the file explorer as well? If so, then it sounds like Source Filmmaker is missing some key folders. If that is the case, copy and paste your seasons folder from your usermod folder to somewhere else on your computer to avoid losing them. Do the same with any addons that you might have installed into the usermod folder, as well as any other files that you don't want to lose. Back them up basically. Once you have files from the usermod folder that you don't want to loose on another part of your computer, uninstall Source Filmmaker. After you have done that, install Source Filmmaker again. Hopefully all of the required folders and files would be there.

@@destorin6150 No worries at all! I'd say copy and paste your sfm lab files to another location on your computer as well. Basically, if you are going to reinstall Source Filmmaker, copy and paste any files from the Source Filmmaker folder that you want to keep first before uninstalling to avoid losing them.

I think you should be able to achieve that by having one position on a keyframe and then another position on the next keyframe in the graph editor. Click the + button in Source Filmmaker. then, click on the text that says to add a particle system. Hit browse Go to the game or workshop particle you'd like to import from the Source Filmmaker folder. (So if it was a Team Fortress 2 particle you wanted, you'll go to the tf2 folder and then go to particles, for example.) Choose what particle you'd like. Choose which variation of the particle you'd like from the dropdown menu. It will also give you the option for when the particle starts, and when the particle ends. Hope this helps:D

This could be due to multiple reasons: Are you in the right file location. For reference, these folders are typically found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game (Though may differ if you installed Source Filmmaker in a different location) If you're in the right file location, it could be an issue with your folders. Try creating a new folder in Source Filmmaker's "game" folder called "workshop" and then try subscribing to the particle you want. If the folders are still not showing up, then this might be due to an issue that Source Filmmaker had when installing. If that is the case, you could try uninstalling and then installing it again. I'd advise that you copy and paste any SFM projects that you are working on to a different location first though.
