Kazunoko is a great player.. but his Juri in these vids is awful compared to Sako, Wong, Aiai, and more. If you want to be inspired, watch those guys.

I main Juri and I watch demos everyday (Sako, Yossan, AiAi, Floe, Haneyama, Gllty, Alex Vale, Momochi, Reiketsu, Justin Wong, SonicFox, etc) and Kazunoko's Juri is great! Just because he doesn't play with an aggressive style it doesn't mean that his Juri is awful.

+TheF4kE It's not his style at all.. it's that he doesn't optimize and he constantly drops combos. I'm sure he'll get better over time, but good lord his punishes don't even make sense. Ex. In the first match he punishes an extremely easy cornered Ken (after hk tatsu) by doing st.mp, cr.mp.... thats not even a link. And he had like 3 seconds to think about it too. Again, he'll get better I'm sure, but watching these matches is cringing at the moment.

I don't think that the punishments/combos are that important here. It is clear that he is still learning Juri but his skill makes the difference. He plays safe which is unusual for Juri players and he makes it work. He is on point with the hit confirms, shimmy, anti-air and spacing.

I forgot to mention that this footage is from August 3rd-7th so over 3 weeks old. The fact he was able to compete with such high ranked players with such an early Juri speaks volumes about the mans talent. You're right about Sako and AIAI having better Juri's though. They carried on playing her whilst Kazunoko realized his Cammy is far superior and stopped playing Juri. Maybe he was just having some casual fun.

Mid tier. She isn't that bad for a DLC character. If they buff her after the next balance patch she will be solid mid or even top mid tier.

+JayBird she is the only character who needs charge her special moves. She has 950 hp and 950 stan only and her normals don't connect.

TheF4kE good point but I still think she is top tier material as of now she has plenty of mixups and solid combos when she charges her specials and most of her normals connect during V-Trigger
