Im a kof player, xiaohai said years ago that kof is harder than sf. KOF 98 is about learn the basics, but its hard because of the controls and the LONG ANIMATION between the combos also xiaohai said that kof 98 is more focused in mindgames, mental skill... around 2 million of chineses play kof 98 in a day so its not a surprise to find why they are the best at that game. I agree with you this game is SO EASY to play, and about the first 2 hours you already know how this game works, in the other hand in kof 98 you need months or even years to be decent at it (Xiaohai played around 10 hours every day looking for tricks and improving his gameplay to be the best.)

Name Noname the real problem is that punk's reactions and ability to hit confirm is of an insane level. Justin Wong, Mago and Packz are nowhere as consistent though Mago is pretty close.

TheBlackSage7 I sometimes at Punks local in Philly and let me say I think he's the best SFV player the man is like a chess master. I called it over a year ago. Punk is focused, intelligent and has an amazing EC defense style to SF. With that said I stand by my comments about Karin she has been OP since day one, her hit confirm are extremely easy to pull off and she's doing crazy dmg, her hurt/hitbox is the best in the game. She has the best Ex bar in the game because she can keep opponents in block strings for 80% of the match building up meeter faster then any charecter in the game which means she almost always has an Ex Ressena handy (makes Rashids, and Ryus ex upper cuts look beta;). She points out how unbalanced this game actually is. How does Capcom let her stay an S class charecter then Nerf the heck out of charecters like Chun-Li, Ryu, and Urian*?

Name Noname Even with what you're saying and with me being a Karin main myself I can assure this is only a problem because punk is freaky good with Karin. Karin does have good buttons but her anti airs are suspect with you need to spend bar to aa consistently or get in on zoners. No one brought this up about Justin wong or Mago and she is considered maybe 5 or 6th on the tier list. The tier list is pretty much considered to be: 1.Urien, 2.Balrog, 3.Laura, 4.Ibuki, 5.Cammy and then Karin. Punk is probably shaking up the perceptions of that tier list but he alone is the reason for it.
