I now considered Snake Eyez/Dragon Eyez the most consistent western player. There was a time when he whine and lose hope on Gief but he took it like a champ and show his loyalty to the end (Gief 2.5 buff greatly helps too)

to all the folks talking bad about PUNK, you guys are forgetting something major; snake eyez and punk are the most dynamic stars to come out of this new generation of fighter games, they're drawing new viewers and making old viewers excited to watch SF again. I've not seen a more enjoyable finals or top 8 in a long time, most of the japanese finals are less read focused compared to characters punk and snake are using.

Snake Eyez is my fav because of Gief, but I like seeing Punk win too since he's from Philly. This was a good GF but I think Punk would have been better off sticking with Karin considering he had Snake on reset point with her. Either way, enjoying the USA dominance after so many years of lagging behind.

To be honest I didn't bother to watch CEO this year because I knew punk was going to be in grand finals and somehow probably win, but I'm glad snake eyez took the tourney. It's like last year with nuckledu and infiltration, if you win one cpt event you win them all and it's honestly really boring, I'm looking forward to evo though
