Been playing this character since back when he got his first nerfs that killed him for basically 3 years. Having consistent meterless combos off my lights after all this time made me want to cry.

The extra 20 damage on Psycho Upper is also pretty insane. Huge damage buff to one of his most prominent and reliable combo enders. I hope to see more pros playing Ed this season, because he's definitely got a lot of potential.

Gotdayum Ed does some damage! Edit: To specify, that first combo demonstrating the low forward link did about a fifth of the life bar, to my eye. Hard to judge since some life was already missing, but still!

I see Capcom watched Ed’s “Unstun” combo videos. You needed to dunk into Vt1 in order to get that to work, so they took that shit away.

been playing ed pre-buff on a ps4 pad. the piano is fine, just slide your thumb back and forth on lp and mp. you need 5 inputs to flicker, so if you confirm from a punch two slides combo

I'm not sure what you're asking. cr. MK combos into flicker even from far away now. And I got the flicker by hitting punch buttons quickly after cr. MK

@@snap_drama346 use multiple different punch buttons and it's easier. But don't use the ppp shortcut because that only counts as one punch. Basically it counts "unique frames that you're hitting a punch"

I've been making vids with Ed for the past 2 years finally made it to ultra gold with him only to realize no one cares. I was actually called cheap because he's not a directional influence character. I'm at the point where I just don't want to play or record myself on sfv any more due to its community .

lol don't mind the haters. The character plays normally for the most part despite their inputs being different, and this character was weak for so long that anyone who called you cheap are probably just idiots. Do not pay attention to the opinion of salty players who only care to talk trash.
