Paul Pierce is wrong. Russ’s play last week was fine. The play-calling, O-Line and defense weren’t good, and a fumble killed a potential game-tying drive. If not for the O-Line, Russ would’ve completed 16/22 passes, which is 73%. He threw 1 TD and 0 INTs, and the refs helped the Eagles a lot. Watt may be the Steelers’ most valuable player right now, but Russ is still the team’s BEST player, as he was in Denver and Seattle.

Russ Wilson has not had consistent O- line coverage, max wide receivers, and a consistent defense since his first years at the Seahawks! A QB must have a consistent supporting staff to play his best like Lamar had on Sunday! A QB trying to be a jack of all trades like Smith wants gets old after a while! The real challenge for a really good offensive coach is to be able to form the offense around the best talents of the QB, which is the best way to win games. They come to the game on one day, ready to work and play hard, and the next Sunday, they don't feel like playing and can't even tackle a running back or wide receiver! At the end of the day, they all put the blame on Russ Wilson as usual when the offense and defense stand flat-footed! We could tell the Steelers were playing half-hearted and putting very litt🎉le effort because they are now playing real high-level football offensive and defensive players on the Eagles and Ravens' teams! They don't think and feel like they can beat them!
