17:41 Kid Dracula for the Game Boy and NES (the latter being Japan-only) parodies Castlevania quite a bit, and it's even an official spin-off of the series. It stars a pint-sized Alucard and a cutesy-looking Death as they venture to rescue Dracula's minions from Galamoth (yup, that boss from SoTN). Along the way, they fight giant chickens, ride rollercoasters, encounter King Kong, go into space and fight aliens, participate in a quiz show hosted by the Statue of Liberty... Yeah, everything has that "wacky kid's anime" vibe to it. It's a pretty neat platformer, though.

Peace and happy new years eve!! Anyways I just ADORE the Dracula movie references in this chapter, even tho the cut-scene was a tad long. The flying bat section was a bit of a pain, especially since those villagers throw stakes at you. The end result is always satisfying tho.

I'm guessing Matt didn't know, but during the bat section you can actually get a first person view by using c-up. Which gives a a first person view to aim your um...feces. Which in turn means you get a view of your own hole with inner lining, which has spikes surrounding it ( I assume bat anatomy). But it's a neat/strange extra they put in that also most likely helps the aiming.

Emm guys you counted wrong...Unless the game saves each time you throw a villager, you throw one and a cutscene, then 2 and another cutscene, then another 2 and another cutscene, then it comes final 2 villagers and the last cutscene. So it would be a total of 7 villagers

17:30 Johnny to add what you said there's actually 2 parody series Konami made for Gradius. The first was Parodius, some ports of the second game and the arcade version of the third game did make it to Europe oddly enough. The other is Otomedius, so far only the second game made it to the US for the 360. But back to the game itself; this is where I personally feel where Conker goes downhill for me. Before it started out as a parody of cute mascot platformers to now parodying many iconic movies, characters, etc. Granted I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I feel it just lost something at this point. Oh well nothing's perfect!

James Baker It is. The controls are fine, there are no bugs or glitches (that I know of), it has several modes, great customization, the gameplay is solid, the music is awesome, the voice acting is hammy but good. Objectively it's a well-made and solid game. Now, you may not like the idea of CastleVania as a fighting game, or the Death Note artist doing the designs, but those had no affect on the quality of the game and are opinions.

James BAker and GoGojiraGo SGb's biggest complaints were the odd character designs j rock simon ninja mummy grant sephiroth alucard and that the game feels more like it should have been a hack and slash i watched their playthrough of it. they were more on the lines of this could have been something else they found it weird as a fighting game. they didnt hate the gameplay they just felt they chose the wrong genre
