In the question round, if a person rings in and the guess is correct, that player gets three spins. Everyone who gets it right that didn't ring in only gets one spin. When passing spins, you can't choose how many spins to pass. You have to pass all spins. That's the rule of PYL. I know there was a bit of confusion there. Just trying to help make the rules clear.

I grew up watching so many of them due to my parents watching them that I just ended up liking them too. Also, watching Family Feud now! Steve Harvey is probably the best thing that has happened to that show! It's so damn hilarious now! XD

Actually, Family Feud doesn't come on as much as you think any more. The older ones usually come on late morning on occasion, but it's usually reruns of 2000s game shows (Deal or No Deal, 1 vs. 100, stuff like that).

Tell me about it. It was the only way I found out about Legends of the Hidden Temple as a kid. I watched reruns since I was born in '93 and the show ended in '96.

And those passed spins MUST all be depleted before you can pass your earned spins. When passing spins, also, the person in first place gets the passed spins. if the person in first place passes spins, second place gets them. if you get a whammy, all passed spins turn into earned spins.

As someone who knows her game shows, when I was little with re-runs of this running on GSN in the late 90s, the Whammy scared me; seriously, it still looks weird. At least they made him look better in the short-lived revival of Press Your Luck.

I've been similarly scared by the Whammy when seeing reruns when I was very young. But now that I'm over that Press Your Luck is one of my favorite game shows of all time. Screw your Millionaires and your Deal or No Deals, the Whammies are where it's at! (And yet I was born after the show was cancelled).

That does apply to the initial board of the REAL Press Your Luck. Some guy took advantage of it and won lots of money. Now, THIS version could be more easily exploited, knowing the quality.

Wait, what version of the game is this? I played a trial version on PC, and it didn't have the theme song. This does. Still, it's missing a lot from the original show. Some of the flashiness is gone, there's no game show host (the disembodied voice sounds more at home instructing a board game), the whammies didn't have any voices as far as I could hear, and the victory at the end wasn't very victorious. Still, that was a good watch. The pass near the end is definately the way to play.

I remember watching this game show as a kid and was fascinated by the Whammy animations. I didn't know this was available for the PS3(4?). I've only seen it for the Wii. Must have been because I'm a Wii owner, but no friends to play this with. That's why I never picked it up. :(

There was a guy who figured out the timing and the pattern in which the lights light up. Having done so, he made an unreal amount of money on the show. ( I mean the ACTUAL SHOW) Also Iam preaty sure this Game was made by the same company responsible for other GameShow game re-makes. as evidenced by the reused Avatars.
