Took my buddy fishing for redfish today in the bama bayous for the first time. Used the tactics in several of your videos. He’d never caught redfish but we both caught our limit and he had a flippin ball. Keep up the videos Nate 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Nice Man! Looks like it was a great day! It's been a couple weeks since I've been out there. Been doing some bass fishing and now I'm missing the marsh big time! LoL. Never tried those buggs Jigs before. They look great, but man they are PRICEY! 😬

Man I’m telling you they’re worth it when it comes to marsh fishing, I don’t think there’s a better lure!

@@southernsalt Yeah, apparently I was looking at some of their custom colors that are $35-40 apiece! $9-10 is heck of a lot better deal and definitely doable. Do you know anyone who sells them locally?

Hello brother how you doing? It wasn't a bad day at all. One thing for sure At least you didn't skunk out. You were catching some nice red though. That was crazy what happened to your buddy with the shark. Man I would love to hook up with you and do a fishing trip with you. I really really liked watching you fishing & I know that I would really really love fishing with you on the water man. That would be one of the best fishing vacations man. If I can get a load going to mobile & park my truck 🚛 at the truck stop & work it out from there. Oh brother me and my family was invited by my wife's co-worker and her family to do a kayak trip this weekend. The one time that I didn't bother to bring a fishing pole & I'm just floating down the river eating lunch and I happen to just glance down to my right and there was a big bass just floating in the shade of my kayak. I actually looked twice cuz I thought I was seeing things. It was so close I wish I had a net cuz I could just scoop down and pick him up. But man was it an hot day man. 94° degrees outside even getting rained on in a downpour but it felt good as hot as it was & we dried up quick because of the Heat. Hope you are having a good weekend brother & thank you for sharing this video.

Does the color of the red fish affect the taste?
@southernsalt2 жыл бұрын
Man that’s a question I can’t answer. The color of the fish reflects the environment they live in. Marsh= orange, sand bar= lighter color. Im sure it might because the 2 environments provide different diets.
@johnkarges88292 жыл бұрын
Not in my experience between the copper ones and the silver ones, externally it’s only matters as to which environment/water clarity and color, but not effecting taste of the meat.

The Sharks are taking over, Maiming Swimmers and Depleting the Nearshore Sportfish. The NOAA Global Warmer Woke Diverse Hires have outlawed Shark Fishing and the population has quadrupled since.

Not uncommon to have juvenile black tip and bull sharks in the shallows, just like all other species going shallow, less prey more secure environment! Until your the prey, when they reach about 4’ they’ll move out.
