My father ate fruits after almost every meal. At least 3 to 5 serving of fruits plus 3 to 5 servings of vegetables daily for decades. At 70, he still end up with depression.

Probably it only apply to certain group of people…….. To spend a small talk just talking to the our elderly parent or just listen to them how they spend their day…….
