F12 has cassette 10-33. It is hard to optimize the cadence on a steep hill. On the other hand, a 20-inch wheel is much easier to keep the cadence, hence, more efficient. In this case, riding a folding bike is an advantage, not a disadvantage. When going downhill or on the flat road, F12 will be easily passing the folding bike. I have a road bike and a folding bike. The folding bike is easier to climb, even a few kg heavier than the road bike, especially when climbing 20%+.

You just concluded that a cheap chinese bike outperforms a state of the art super bike that costs over 10k (usd). Imagine yourself passing a dogma in a folding bike whilst knowing the other rider is of similar capability of you, no that's just not happening, on smooth tarmac, regardless of the gradient. The guy in pink aint even using his easies gears, so idk what you're on about with "hard to maintain cadence". It's the rider that made the difference. fyi that road there has an average gradient of 6.2%

@@user-eu7on1un8w Certainly, for a 6.2% gradient, the F12 will outperform the small wheel for the same rider. I have a 20-inch and a road bike. (26 lbs vs 20 lbs) I can climb 20% hill with both bikes, but the 20-inch is a little bit easier to climb because of the gear ratio and smaller wheels. For this video, I would not comment on which riders are better because we don't know how long the F12 rider goes before this hill. What I want to say is no single bike is best in all circumstances.
