I'm saying it's bad for the environment and local people..govt should control the amount of tourists per month by allotting permits for hill stations but it should be first come first serve basis and free of cost. Something similar works for Amarnath and Vaishno devi during covid

Went there few month ago and ropeway experience was really great ..local tour guide and drivers will never tell you about the ropeway as they prefer covering as many local tourist spots a day as possible and they have to wait for the tourists for a long time if they go for a ropeway ride ..

Haan ropeway ke liye subah 8 baje se pahle aa jaao toh best he but ek cheez bolungi ki hum bhi 10:30 baje tak wait kiye the line mein. But wo 2-2.5 ghunte me hum bore nahi huye. Thandi thi toh thakaan nahi hui, and baju me hi restaurant he, waha se ek banda gaya chai lene wo bhi pee, parathe khaye. 2 ghunte kese beete pata bhi nahi chala. Ek ek pal enjoy karne layak he Darjeeling ❤
