Daniel Prior to confirm that thing you are pointing are correct/on the right place.

Daniel Prior I love this tradition. This is an excellent way to create harmony between mind and body. It helps improve spatial awareness. No wonder Japanese rail system has almost zero accidents. Every crew member is 100% aware of the surroundings and operational steps.

jonathan chan the conductor has her/his own door and in the conductor room they have a little button for opening and closing doors

The front 8 cars were in service and the rear 4 cars were empty. The rear 4 cars had been removed from service at Keikyu Kawasaki Station the last stop, but the decoupling was performed at Kanagawa Shinmachi Station this stop. The conductor just needed to board the train in service, the empty train was taken care of by the depot staff.

こんにちは、なぜ彼らが手でサインで扱われるのか、彼らが指すのか、なぜ彼らが人差し指で示すのかを説明してくれませんか。私はアルゼンチンのブエノスアイレスから来ました。 Hello, could you explain to me why they handle signs with their hands, that they point, or why they do that of indicating with the index finger, Thank you very much for answering I am from Buenos Aires Argentina ..
@nh31353 жыл бұрын
Hello. Although not very familiar with railroads, these actions are called "pointing and calling." Pointing and calling is a part of danger prediction activity, in which a work object such as a signal, a sign, or an instrument is pointed with a finger for the purpose of safety confirmation, and the name and state are confirmed aloud. (I'm not good at English, so the grammar may be wrong)
