But, it often comes out as "Are y'all bein' have (with the A in Have being long, like in the word Late)?" I have heard this and even said this without meaning to a thousand times as a born and raised southern woman. LoL

To me one of the great element of the direction of your videos is that each time (and I mean each time) I feel like I’m joining the vignette in the middle of the conversation. These vignettes are not just people saying southern idioms. Each vignette is so well prepared and then they are integrated together. Always a hoot and alway well done. Thanks!

I love y'all. I'm a Yankee but one of my favorite people in my life was a neighbor that moved to Indiana from the beautiful hills of Virginia as she would say. She taught me to make southern cornbread baked in an iron skillet of coarse. Not the sweet mix in a box that ya whip up in a jiffy, plus many southern faves. Thanks y'all for bringing up some beautiful childhood memories. Thanks to you too Miss Kathy. God rest her beautiful soul. So glad I stumbled upon y'all. God bless
