@@NN-wh6fn The tourism department of India is one of the worst organizations in the country, and the archaeology department isn’t any better. There’s zero proper planning and maintenance. As soon as you crossed the tunnel. You reached the rain-scarce region of the Himalayas. Also called the leeward side. It is difficult for the Indian monsoons to cross those huge mountains so very little rain makes it there. That's why the area is quite arid.

the smaller 3pin indian plug is only rated at 10amps and electrical installation at these areas are never good so make sure you don't set the whole wiring on fire. the bigger plug is rated to handle 16amp and you should ask them if they have a socket with that plug like for a heater or refrigerator. most of indian homes will have 16amp plugs in kitchen or bathroom for water heater microwave . rest of the plugs are typically 6 or 10amp.

Such a nice trip. Glad finally you got roads that make you happy to ride. Usually the outlets are 6 amps 240 volts. If the charger is buck converting it to 180 volts, then constantly using 10 amps output is perfect. 13 can be done for a while. But if you ask for 16 amp socket you will be able to do much more. Luckily many people have one or two of those at their place, for AC, or ironing clothes, heaters or microwave.
