You have to experiment with external distortion pedals and the profiles. Californication which is a bassman takes alot of pedals well. Don't judge him on one thing u didn't like. Try a different pedal if u wish. This is what he liked. Good job buddy.

stormshadow2k kinda. That riff pattern is pretty common in majority of metal, so it’s kinda hard to say who ripped off who. Especially nowadays where it’s impossible not to sound like anybody or rip off anybody lol

Nice tone on the clean stuff. i guess its great for adding modulation effects to your signal. bit when it comes to overdrive or distortion, digital sucks. It sound horrible compared to the real deal.

I think it may be caused by EMGs rather then Kemper :)
