Yes, he's an orthopedic surgeon now, and Denny's a law professor. That's why get quite a chuckle when anyone suggests those guys were dumb. ;)

You are very welcome! I love watching the clips so I wanted to share! I know I looked about a year ago on KZbin for clips from the show and couldn't find any. So once I got some of them, I knew I just HAD to share them.

Well, there were reruns on TV later on and in 1988 there was a Sha Na Na marathon on Labor Day weekend. My dad taped that. But also, other fans taped reruns and that's how I've got them. I would love it if they released it on DVD though. Much better quality, sound, etc. That would be fantastic! I'll be posting more videos soon, too. =)

I CAN imagine! When I was a kid, my dad had taped episodes of Sha Na Na and I watched them over and over again (this was on one of the tapes) but we lost them. Then I came across some videos again and I flipped out hearing all of these old songs again. I love sharing the Sha Na Na love hehe =)

I know I would buy the box set if there was one. These guys are fantastic. They just don't make em like this anymore. What a phenomenon for our pop culture.

He went to congress to prevent any other persons from imitatiing their brand. that is using their name sha na na ...copycat groups.... He is smart. The founding members of Sha Na Na formed while they were students at Ivy League Columbia University in NY. While other non-Columbia members later joined the group, it's not surprising you'd get some surgeons and Law Professors out of the group. "Dumb" was a good natured act.
