You own this song, Johnny. I used to love how you would bring a cute starry-eyed teenager up on stage and sing to her. (I think if you did that today you would be arrested, but back in the day we were all just so innocent.)

We don't know whether or not Johnny would be arrested, but if you look at his other videos, he didn't do anything "inappropriate." He was the perfect gentleman!

I absolutely love Johnny's rendition of this song. I used to praise it all the time when it was uploaded elsewhere on youtube. It's quite possibly the best singing I've ever heard. Does anyone know if Johnny ever officially recorded this song on any of Sha Na Na's albums? I couldn't find any such thing when I did a web search for it. I did find a version of it from the lead singer who was in the band before Mr. Contardo was...but I was hoping there was a studio version featuing Johnny himself singing it. Is there?

Unfortunately, he did not. This song was on 2 of Sha Na Na's albums but both were not sung by Johnny.
