Shabani is the best silverback in our generation!!! I absolutely love it when he chases Nene! She needs a wake up call now and then not to mess with his little girl and to show that he's the boss. Shabani you keep her in check!

These poor, innocent animals are in *desperate* need of a very enriched environment...They are bored & looking for some kind of mental & physical stimulation in their day-to-day lives...I find their enclosure & living situation incredibly heartbreaking...Since Man is responsible for them being out of their native habitat, Man should better honor his responsibility for the well being of these magnificent animals...

That enclosure was done as cheaply as possible. They don’t even keep their pool filled and that seems to be the only water they would get. This needs closed down and the gorilla’s moved to sanctuary.

I know they have a new and better enclosure now but the zoo administration shouldn’t have let the old one look so depressing. This is horrible, ugly, badly kept and noisy.

You know people ask why do we keep gorillas in the zoos...some answer for science or our entertainment but more science because their so much like us humans...well more reason to let them live free in the wild..or put the ones that have been in captive all their lives in a safe environment similar to being in the wild...no one likes to be caged up especially humans...so sad
