I was wondering how to attach the grid panels to make the long strips. Beautiful quilt and the grid pattern looks fun - just not sure how they would be connected.

Hi mbrech1088 - The grid panels included in your kit will measure approximately 56" each, so you wouldn't need to connect them. We did shorten the portion we used for the video for the sake of time. Hope this helps! -Michelle

What thread do you use, cotton or polyester? If you use polyester, is there a chance of it melting during the pressing process ?

We used 100% cotton thread for this project, so we are not able to tell you about the reaction with a polyester thread during this process. -Michelle

I don't think a seam in the border detracts. Usually the quilting takes the eye away from that.
