My game review on that is actually pretty good. Sure it's hard to earn gems for gacha but... Do you really need them? Not much cause you can still reuse the previous idol just fine. That's good game design. Not forcing player to buy staff to win. Bad example would be... SAO MD games under Bandai -You can't win the reward without event limited character as it is "Created just for the event" -Gacha rate sucks... -Hard to earn gems... Summery you will have to whale it to at least follow up with the event... I'm not even talking about ranking there... The ranking is way worse now thx to gacha. Think of it as Genshin Impact but with worse rate and has ranking... Imagine how much you would whale to get to top 10. Originally it wasn't this bad until they introducing 5 star and then 6-8 star. That's when it gets weird. If only they knew 4 star is already a hard drop... This is like try to divide 1% rate and do it again. Originally it was 4 stars around 1-5%. (As rarest) Now it's 5-8 star with 0.00xxx (as rarest) Now you get why adding rarity is bad? Like what gacha game should NEVER do is reinvented a rarer unit... Like dafuq is that? Just stick with your own rarity! Fun fact the rate there is worse than FGO but with pity... Though those pity only whale could ever afford. Since in general gacha there is already a luxury so F2P can't even reach pity roll... For some reason this keep happening in Bandai game. -Tales of game? Also adding more rarity... -YGO? This one it's fair cause all meta will win... It actually would be better off in real life because we can trade cards there in game shop... -3D MMO SAO game? Follow SAO MD route... I don't understand but Bandai is killing off its own game... Eventually yes, they will get massive money but in short term... They should look up to how FGO manage to stay alive for 7 years. It's one of the oldest yet most balanced gacha with actual tactics I ever see. -Need guide to clear with low rarity? It exists cause the GM run test to make sure it works. -No gacha gameplay? It also possible with just event servant... I'm not joking you can run the entirely game with just Friend Point gacha. Though this takes COMMITMENT! -Solo run with a single SSR every quest? It's possible... There's a variety of video featuring that too as proof. -Quest being too hard? No worry the GM will set that as an optional quest. They already test it to make sure any player can clear it. You just need a bit of brain power. It's balanced but yeah, it's also growing old. Nothing last forever like... A lot actually go to Genshin Impact now.

Like seriously... I dare those GM to play their game with low rarity and clear their fking quest... Cause I as formal top 7 in ranking can't... Why so? Cause you damage score lock! Low rarity in SAO MD has low damage thus will lose cause of damage lock! Oh, also low damage means low DPS... This means it takes too long so you will also get a TIME OUT! It's never possible... I actually try it too. I try challenge current game with maxed out 4 stars... Guess what? I lost cause of time out. Imagine a new player want to get all the item... All my advice would be "Get lucky roll for the event character... I try another route but it's not possible :')" At this point I think you would rather play online gamble game like... -Online Pocker -Manjo -Etc That's why increase rarity just blow the game... Grinding can help but that would take months now... Compare to gamble... It's an equal to just adding "special text" on each poker card... Even if the card state 2 heart some might has effect of "times 10" That's the level of how bad it was... A lot of gambler would call that as cheatiing.

I don't really quite understand what's the deal with gacha addicts. I do play some Japanese mobile games. They give me bucket loads of in-game currency just because I haven't played them for a while, so I used them to roll limited items and rare characters. I mainly play Powapuro Appli, and I have a dozen of PSR characters without really trying. These mobile games are a lot less demanding on root boxes than PC games, like Team Fortress 2 where you get crates that are completely useless if you aren't willing to pay for keys. Unless you really want specific characters or try to brag your all 5-star cast roster, there isn't really any reason to spend real money on gacha.

"Dere" is from "cinDERElla girls", hence this branch is referred to as "derem@s" to differentiate from the other im@s branches. "sute" is from "starlight STAge", "stage" being "sute-ji" in katakana. The japanese have an interesting sense for abbreviation :)
