Thank you professor. I am reminded of Turbo forest dispensary and NYS Turbo dispensary. We were always treated there and the medications were always available. That was during our St. Columbas days.

Very good point you are raising my brother. Moral vetting needs to be an imperative so that we can have hygiene politics. Morality has declined a lot in many African government personnel. Infact, if I may add, all presidents need to have a mental status assessment. For instance, in Zimbabwe, the president is very much unstable mentally. Insanity must be detectable among all presidential candidates and those who have it must be barred from running.

Prof. Manyora. US has both private health insurance. Those that are not able to afford health care or go for dialysis and cancers get Medicaid so they are treated for free. If someone is sick and even needing emergency surgery they're treated first and asked to pay later even with monthly payments plans of whatever amount. In Kenya before surgery even in emergency they ask for a big deposit....

NHIF was perfect and it only needed to be fine tuned to accommodate the universal aspect, without forcing payers but voluntarily. You can't force someone who hardly afford a single meal a day to pay 300sh. Same thing on housing. The only problem with Ruto is bulldozing anything or everything that he learns from other countries that took decades to grow their agenda to fruition. Ruto should have gone slow in affording one successful proposal after another. But he MUST incorporate stakeholders (citizenry) before implementing any big agenda. That way, today we could be far a head. Impoverishing tax payers to make populist moves is wrong and unsustainable hence the GenZ emergency, the most unlikely rebellion to stop further impoverishment. I wish he could interrogate his mind via deliberate conscience. The choice is his.

Mr. Manyora, please don’t get carried away with your world class health care system. It is a wonderful thought to have a free health care system like we have where I come from in Scandinavia. But it is not a pierce of cake to create such a system and it is very, very, very expensive. Let alone a “world class system”. All the technical equipment of which the MRI scanners are the most expensive. And you need quite a few for all of Kenya. However, getting rid of corruption and government wastage will get you on the right path. When Kenyan doctors go to my country to practice, they have to go back to school (university) for a year to be brought up to standard here. When a doctor from my country goes to e.g. the US, they can go straight to work. One day, I hope, Kenyan can take the first steps towards a free health care system. (and you don’t have enough nurses, btw). But you have to learn to crawl before you can walk 😊

We want our businesses to thrive...a good business environment.... revive Sugar Industry in Western Kenya...revoke the Agreements that you signed with EU , US, UK, Agoa, IMF that is killing local industries like cotton industry, textile industry, sugar industry...we don't want cartels in Eastleigh importing sugar killing our sugar industry....put a program that is going to stop mitumba industry

Professor we have in this problem of integrity began when CJ willy mtunga allowed the suspects of ICC to run for the highest office in Kenya that's why we are in this crisis cos The CJ then has what it takes to stop this nonsense but he failed to do so now the country is good to go down because of several factors ie economic crisis, corruption, integrity, accountability, tribalism,equity and etc omg this is wrong

You are wrong on the Judiciary stopping the Executive. It is the whole purpose for having the 3 arms of Government, for checks and balances. It is the mandate of the Judiciary to deliver justice in line with the Constitution and other laws can and to overturn unconstitutional laws. The Executive has the AG for advice on Constitutionality of its decisions. However, we have a situation where the AG has publicly declared Ruto does not consult him. It is not debatable, the Executive MUST follow the Law or we will have no Country.

NHIF n SHIF. They are the same except two things; 1) one does not have *S* n the one has. (2) the cheese masters are different in terms of scope on insider dealers n dirty games.
