We where watching you guy's from the block side this morning. You totally mist the schools of returning sardines passing the block. A couple of garic landed there on plug and jig and drop. Won't talk about the fall I had during a jig and drop session a couple of weeks ago. Still managed to land a 9kg garic that snapped my rod during the fight from that fall at the block. Really enjoy your video, great work. And thank you so much for always putting in the effort to promote Keeping It Clean.
@KentsFishing3 жыл бұрын
Returning Sards, that’s awesome! We shot this vid last week Friday and there were hardly any fish around. Would have been spectacular to see I’m sure. Well done on the Garrick and sorry about the fall. Ya I actually need to go back there to do a clean up. There’s so much litter there. Thanks Nino, take care 🤙

@@KentsFishing hi bud! That was that friday. My mate was there spinning close to you. We had two day's during the week, where some good action was being had from the block on some pockets of returning sardines. A couple of Garic came out on plug and some on jig and drop. Hopefully this water will clear quickly. Tight lines

Missed Derick. Just a little tip..when trying to get livies is to chum the area first. Old orange/onion bag with mashed pilchard and flower stick a sand spike though it. Soon the livies will swarm the area. Great video..nothing better than fresh fried Shad.

Too video larnie .south coast always has top fishing grounds.some day when I get the chance I'll go fishing there.how do I get to that spot and is it a safe place.thnx for the top vids....God bless....stay safe
@KentsFishing3 жыл бұрын
Praveen, like all places one has to be always weary of your surroundings and this particular spot is definitely one of them. I find it better to go there on the weekend because there are usually a number of anglers around. Gives you peace of mind. Vehicles have been broken into but I see the guys park on the river side now and some on the grass patch near the main Rd. The turn is off the main rd if you take the old rd to Port Shepstone Town. So from DBN I would take the Umtentweni toll off ramp. Head east to the main old rd towards Port Shepstone and turn right when you see the sign board Port Shepstone Country club (golf course). Sandspitt is located opposite to the Golf course. Thanks and take care God bless 🙏

Hi Kent love the vid. 1 question do u know any grinder reels that I can use on my 12ft n 14ft and thats good for the price 😄
@KentsFishing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Don, yes. Okuma ceymar have a really good affordable range. In fact I have the ceymar 55 that I use sometimes. I will show you on my next video. I find the Daiwa BG 4500 works well on both 12 and 14ft it’s well balanced. Daiwa laguna 4000 / 7ball bearings not a bad reel and is well priced. Shimano seena 4000 also well priced and works well. I hope that this helps and I will definitely show you some on my next video. Thanks and take care Don
