My goodness you scrub up well, I almost didn’t recognise you at the event. Having said that you have all the raw material, so beautiful, even without makeup and covered with paint. The carpets look amazing and I’m so glad you painted the skirting boards and coving, much better. My husband is an electrician and he said you did a great job!

We got some work done renovating our outhouse - it was done by the previous owner as a DIY job. The electrician happened to be re-wiring and said that the socket was burnt and was one or two uses away from setting on fire! Such lucky timing but also made me terrified to ever do electrics myself!

Would changing a light socket be considered electrical? I really want to swop out my plastic ones from 20 years ago replace with ones similar to yours, which look great...

I think not, it was because I was changing single to double sockets which may be considered altering the circuit! If you're not sure though just best to get advise from an electirican xx
