I don't know what app you use but I think there is an option to duplicate / copy. You can make duplicates of your drawing so if you don't like the rendering you can go back to the original one???

I really do love videos like this because not only does it give me more ideas and variation in my own art, but it also just validates me in my current cartoony style. Sometime I just feel like I am being lazy for not doing things more realistically, and that's not entirely true.

This is what I needed, thank you so much also YOU DIDN’T USE CUSTOM BRUSHES( or not that I noticed) BLESS YOUR SOUL. Other guides provided info on the differences and a little bit of what you should do but never really went further and explained some techniques and methods on how to do it.

Wow! Thank you so much for making this video! You seriously deserve so many more likes. I could not for the life of me understand the shapes of shading fully, as I had never heard of the planes of the head reference. I also didn't realize that there is actually an art style called "semirealism," and that helps me understand variation between it and cartoon so much better now. You have just made my artistic life so much fuller and easier to manage, so thank you. Now if I can just figure out this stuff for cartoon/semirealistic animals.

I struggled with these concepts for so long converting to a digital workflow from traditional art methods. Tysm for sharing!! I've ALWAYS wondered how artist could color like this. I always questioned myself if I needed a set of colours or I needed some sort of reference to guide me, to go to a level of skill like this but it turns out it's just about blending and picking the right shades!! I have been doing art for as long as i can remember, it is the only thing that has stuck with me through everything. But i NEVER understood shading, most of my art had no shading or just random shading that wasnt good cause i had no understanding I have taken art classes, watched videos, practised, but its never really clicked for me Until this video To say my mind is blown is a fucking understatement Thank you, so much
