One failing of the Batarang is that when you throw it, one point is going to want to hook in on impact, while the opposite isn't, since, as it spins, the points have opposite curves. There's no proper way to hold it when you throw, because on the off chance a point hits, it has a 50/50 chance of facing in the right direction to stick. By the way, Tyranth won, because no matter what he does, he looks cool doing it.
@DIREWOLFx7510 ай бұрын
"There's no proper way to hold it when you throw, because on the off chance a point hits, it has a 50/50 chance of facing in the right direction to stick." That's the difference between an amateur thrower and a highly skilled thrower. For the master thrower, the random doesn't exist, because he CHOOSES exactly how much spin he puts on what he throws and understands the range and what spin is needed to get what impact. This is also why throwing knifes is so much more difficult, because you have to put just the right spin for the range on it, to make it hit point first. The problem of course, is that this kind of throwing skill is more in line with circus artists and highend performers than any normal users.

hey guys great video. got a few points id like to add: common pistols, like a M1911, for example, weighs about 2.8 pounds loaded, and a glock comes in at about 2.4 pounds loaded. i think they have way too much mass to be knocked aside by the batarangs that appear to be very light and dont have much mass of their own. you would need to hurl a large rock at their hand if you wanted to disarm the gun. if all you had were the batarangs i think you'd have to nail them in the hand and hope they drop it out of shock, or just hurl it at their face as a distraction to help you close the distance. i also feel its a big misunderstanding that shuriken and other similar throwing weapons have lethal capacity. i think they are used to distract and create openings. if youre having a sword fight with someone then out of no where you whip a sharp metal star, or even a knife or a rock at them, chances are youre going to force them to react. that reaction could be moving away from what was thrown at them, or straight up trying to parry it with their weapon. and whether it hits them or not, if you provoke your opponent to react to the unexpected and break their concentration for even a second and then follow up quick, it could potentially create the opening you need to finish the job

S'funny, but in the original comics, Batman carried a pair of pistols around to kill unnamed thugs. You are uneducated.
@Mausso10 ай бұрын
So I guess to you guys, it would be totally fine to have Batman dressed up in a zebra costume because he did it in a couple of comics? You would look at him and say, "Yeah, that's Batman!" Zach Snyder portrayed a Batman who will either kill you without hesitation or brand you so someone kills you in prison. Anyone can agree that that isn't Batman. As for the guns, I don't know where you're getting the "shoots unnamed thugs" because I looked it up. The most indiscriminate Batman seems to have gotten with his shooting was with vampires. The rest seem to be situations where killing them served as a writing technique to communicate the inner conflict in Batman. In Batman Begins, he saved Raz at the beginning and he saw the consequences, so at the end, he doesn't save him because it's thematically appropriate and he sees that there are some people who are just too dangerous. In the Dark Knight he kills Harvey Dent because they happened to be near a ledge and tackling him from that direction was the only way to save the child. It also was necessary for the plot because Batman's arc was realizing that his crusade was inspiring people in the wrong way. He created the Joker and inspired normal citizens to rise up and become vigilantes which is not what he wanted. By taking responsibility for Harvey and his murders, Batman becomes a villain in the public eye so that he doesn't inspire more people to take up his crusade. It's his cross to bear alone. Again, it's done in a way that fits the themes of the story. This isn't just a Tuesday for Batman. It's generally accepted through a majority of comics that Batman doesn't kill and doesn't use guns. When he deviates from that it is because it is usually for a dramatic and thematic purpose that serves the story, like in Dark Knight Returns where he is more violent because he's old, more cynical, and the criminals have become more aggressive and stronger. He becomes more violent and brutal because it serves the story and is used to challenge your understanding of Batman. It's not the norm. There is probably some other obscure comic that you'll probably try to contradict me, but again I will just cite the Zebra Batman scenario. Just because it happened in very specific scenarios doesn't make it the norm. It's also impossible to have a character that has been around as long as Batman and keep them consistent, because there will always be retcons. But in general, it's accepted that Batman doesn't kill and doesn't use guns.

Now that you've tested the Batman's Batarangs how about testing some of BLADE'S weapons. From the Comics Blade had wooden throwing knives that were razor sharp. From the Movies Wesley Snipes had a throwing claw-like boomerang that he used in 1 & 2. Just how effective would the wooden knives be or the claw boomerang? Food for thought.

From a legal stand point. Defendant, "I didn't shoot to kill him. I shot to stop the threat." Prosecutor, "You shot him 3 times." Defendant, "The threat didn't immediately stop." Prosecutor, "You shot him twice in the chest and once in the head." Defendant, "Yes. he refused to surrender so I was forced to ensure the threat stopped."
