In a world where toxic movie adaptations like 365 days and after series gets made and fed to teenagers every year,existence of a character like Inej is so important. I am just so happy that there will be girls growing up watching this show molding out into women with agency and purpose. Inej has the power to save generations of girls from toxic relationships.Not that she was into one or something but just the fact that she understands that she cannot heal someone out of their trauma is what makes her so much better than any other character I've ever read. Every woman on this earth is so amazing.Strong,bold,smart and beautiful. We may express it in different ways but at the end of the day we all are capable of greatness. And trying to heal a man out of his trauma may sound all mussy and cute and kind at first but it is really like trying to dry a river with a torch light. Its there war to fight. It's a bit funny to watch how 99% of existing book fans are mostly gonna watch it for Kaz and his crew even tho the main story line is Alina and her life. Can't complain I'm one of those fans. Loved shadow and bone but when I read 6 of crows (set in the same universe for non book ppl) I couldn't get enough of it. I think it was incredibly smart decision to mash them together as witnessed by all the comments and I pray to Inej gods they will do right by them all
