They still included his skating animation. It’s just it gets wasted when you boost although I guessed they could’ve just included a more intense skating animation when he boosts but I still understand why it’s just him flying as lame as it might be.

@@sheilo It would make more sense if shadow was hovering during a super shadow state in a regular level. Just like how we’ve seen super sonic boost in a normal level. Sega is celebrating shadows history, it would be 10x better if they showcase him actually using his skates rather than him floating in place. Especially in a game where you’re boosting the majority of the time 😂 😂

Plot idea when Sonic had a piece of dark giah Shadow got infected by dark giah and turned into the werehog. Luckily due to his DNA involved with black doom he’s able to control it and helped GUN deal with the supernatural threat while Sonic went on a world adventure. Shadow defended Station Square until Eggman made a signal to gather the pieces all at once which freed shadow of the werehog state

I've always wanted to see a version of this game where he goes Dark sonic instead of werehog, as he's absorbing the dark energy of the Chaos emeralds and would make sense lore-wise (though I guess dark-gia is why its werehog instead? idc tho) Im guessing a mod would be possible but it would have to be re-designed a bit to fit the existing animations, something like shadow-y hands instead of stretch arms to fit the animations I think could potentially work.
