The symphonic element is a form of playback made and layered over the track. They play it during the live shows as well.The lead singer Ben Duerr is a huge fan of the Halo video game series which is the lyrical theme of the band. HALO! His vocal style is my favorite and it’s very brutal and super deep and guttural. His other band is a Slamming Deathcore band called Hollow Prophet. Check them out!

You're absolutely right that it was better to hear this now than when you started doing these videos. They're great, Ben Duerr is a ridiculous vocalist. Check out literally any of their other videos. Also, they're Halo-based, yes the video game/books. It's awesome. Also, check out the video for "Vespertine Decay" by Aborted! Or the lyric video for "TerrorVision", which features Seth from Septicflesh on guest vocals.

Many people say they hate deathcore, but their type of brutality emphasizing rhythm and density is just undeniable while traditional death metal brutality is more about insanity and speed. Have you ever heard of a band called "All That Remains"? There earlier albums are the best, where "The Fall of Ideals" is there best one (according to me)! All tracks on that album are just awesome! I'll recommend you to listen to; Become The Catalyst, Empty Inside, Whispers (I Hear You). "This Calling" is probably their most famous song. Just pick one and i'll promise you that you will be satisfied! :-) Rock on!
