The craziest part is that these songs aren’t just inspired by the games. The lyricist has read the books, enough times to fully understand what’s going on in the story behind every single song. It blows my mind knowing these people took my childhood and formed it into a great band, in the best genre of music out there. These guys are incredible.

If so, almost word for word. Edit: their newer music has become more original with its meaning, but still has moments where it samples parts of the Halo soundtrack, and it still sounds awesome.
